Wallabies Rugby Union Tour

TNT Showfreight recently completed the transportation of the Australian Rugby Team's kit bags and training equipment between venues. The Team Manager, Phil Thompson, handed over the goods to us in London, on a Tuesday evening and we arranged delivery with the help of double manned crew to Edinburgh the following morning. TNT Showfreight then on two occasions collected in Edinburgh in the afternoon and delivered in Paris for the following morning. Both times we needed to set up two crews per movement to adhere to strict EU driving time regulations, one to take the freight to The Eurotunnel in Ashford, across on the train to France for the fastest possible crossing over the Channel and then a second fresh team rushed the goods onto Paris in good time to meet the tight deadline.
Finally we took the goods back to Edinburgh and then on to London ready for their final match at Twickenham where we gifted them the win so they could have a victorious trip home to Australia!
