TNT Logistics goes daily for Suzuki

TNT Logistics has signed a new three year contract with Suzuki GB plc to deliver five days a week to the 145 Suzuki four-wheel dealerships in the UK.

The two companies have worked together since August 1996 but until now TNT Logistics has operated a once-a-week stock delivery system, with VOR parts delivered as needed by express companies.

The new contract incorporates a combined stock and VOR delivery five days a week. It operates out of a central warehouse in Crawley, West Sussex, with outbases at Carlisle, Doncaster, Lutterworth and Bristol.

Wayne Dye, Suzuki General Manager Parts and Accessories, says: "We decided that a combined daily delivery would allow us to provide a better service to our dealers. This means they can, in turn, provide the best possible service to Suzuki vehicle owners throughout the UK."
