TNT Logistics expands home delivery services for Sears in North America

TNT Logistics has expanded its network of home delivery operations for Sears Logistics Services (SLS) in North America. TNT Logistics will deliver home appliances and other white goods to Sears' new residential construction customers in the Nashville, Tenn. and Royersford, Pa. markets.The Royersford operation began in May, with the Nashville operation beginning in July. Earlier this year, TNT Logistics renewed its contracts with SLS for home delivery operations in two other locations. These expansions bring to 23 the number of home delivery operations that TNT Logistics has for Sears Logistics Services in North America.
Earlier this year, TNT Logistics North America received Sears' Partner in Progress Award for Supplier of the Year for Non-Merchandise Services. This prestigious award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears with quality products and services. This is the second consecutive year TNT Logistics North America has won the award, and the second time that it has won in back-to-back years.
Sears Logistics Services, Inc. is the single point of contact for all logistical activity at Sears, Roebuck and Co. They are responsible for the movement of all wearing apparel, appliances, home furnishings, hardware, automotive and repair parts to Sears, Roebuck and Co. stores, and perform millions of home deliveries to Sears, Roebuck and Co. customers.
