TNT Logistics Italy awarded Logistics of the Year

TNT Logistics Italy, lead logistics provider, has been appointed from Assologistica, the first Logistics Association in Italy as "Logistics of the year" in the business training area. The Company helped in raising the sector professionalism through a constant didactic and business training and refresher courses in cooperation with prestigious institutes and universities.'TNT Logistics Italy - declared Ilaria Dalla Riva, Human Resources and Marketing Director in TNT Logistics Italy is always at the front line in training its own Human Resources, and realizes high depth business courses conceived with state-of-the-art didactic and educational techniques. In 2004 the number of trained resources has been approximately 500: in 2005 we expect this number to reach 2400, increasing last year number fivefold. Among these 2400 - closed Ilaria Dalla Riva - 10% are young talent that in 3 years are expected to occupy important positions, while the 5% is made up of managers that are expected to hold executive roles within 3 years.'
The awarding ceremony took place within the event managed by MEMIT (Master in Economy and Transportation Management, Logistics and Infrastructures of Bocconi University in Milan) in cooperation with Assologistica and Bain & Company.
