TNT Logistics Central & Eastern Europe appoints Christian Fürstaller as new CEO

Fürstaller is taking over all the duties of Günther Thiel, who has fulfilled his two-year contract as CEO of the business unit and has handed over his responsibilities on schedule.In its official announcement, the company expressed its thanks to Thiel, who is leaving the business unit well prepared to face future challenges. The company also stressed the important role of Fürstaller, who has made a substantial contribution to putting the business unit on its present course towards growth, has played. Dave Kulik, Group Managing Director of TNT Logistics: "This appointment is our way of rewarding Christian Fürstaller for his efforts. He has played a pivotal role in the process of successfully restructuring the business unit."
With this appointment, the Dutch parent company TNT N.V. is acknowledging the successful developments over the last two years and committing itself to the continuation of TNT Logistics growth strategy for Germany and Central & Eastern Europe.
