TNT Logistics Brazil named top quality company

TNT Logistics was named Top Quality Company by the "Instituto de Pesquisa de Qualidade/IQ" (Quality Research Institute) and Forbes Magazine. The Top Quality Company Award is granted to the 100 most outstanding companies in the nationwide trade, industry and services sectors. Issues such as technological development, quality control, investments, communications and marketing, corporate behavior, environmental policy, research, and customer services were analyzed. The award winners include Esso, Bridgestone Firestone, Kodak, Renault, Procter&Gamble, and Volkswagen, among others. The Award Ceremony will be held in the city of Campinas, State of São Paulo, on May 24.

TNT was also awarded the Merit Certificate granted by General Motors do Brasil. The event is organized by GM and the awards are granted to the best suppliers from five categories: Electric Group, Chemical Group, Logistics Group, Indirect Materials - Services - Machines - Equipment Group, and the Metallic Group. The award granting event brought together approximately 300 GM suppliers and executives, among whom was Walter Wieland, the chief executive officer and Marcos Munhoz, general director of GM-FIAT-WWP.
