TNT Logistics Brasil receives awards for its work as a logistics operator

TNT Logistics received the Volvo Award in Logistics - given by Volvo, the Coppead (the Rio de Janeiro Federal University Institute for Studies in Logistics) and the Tecnologistica magazine - this last week as the best provider of logistics services during 2002. The Volvo award is a result of surveys done by Coppead among the main corporate executives in companies operating in Brazil; this criterion gives credibility to this award.
This was the second edition of the award, following research on the best logistics service providers in the country, based on a survey done by the Logistics Study Centre (CEL) at Coppead - UFRJ, a centre of excellence in the study of logistics in the country. The award was given at the Club Transatlantico, in São Paulo.
Still during this last week, TNT received three other awards. AutoData magazine recognised the company for its social project Art in All Parts, that takes theatre shows to less favoured communities, and the Transporte Moderno magazine awarded the company in the social responsibility and best logistics operator categories.
