CEVA wins “Supplier of the Year” award from GM in Brazil

São Paulo, 12 April 2010 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain companies has received a "Supplier of the Year" awards for the fifth time from General Motors (GM) at the 2009 Supplier Merit Awards event.
The event, held last week in São Caetano do Sul (state of São Paulo), and recognizes CEVA's performance measured against key criteria for GM such as quality, service, technology and price.
CEVA is considered by GM in Brazil as a strategic supplier with excellent performance. "The award demonstrates our commitment towards embedding quality in all the services we provide to GM," said Caio Najm, Vice President of CEVA in Brazil. "This is the result of the work of a dedicated and motivated team." he added.
The award is a GM initiative to recognize the work of suppliers that support the company's achievements throughout the year. The event has been held since 1973 and is currently in its 38th year.
