CEVA Logistics and Arçelik renew collaboration

Istanbul, Turkey, 16 June 2009 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain management companies, today announced a contract renewal with Arçelik, a leading producer of household appliances and components. The central purchasing group of KOC Group (Zer Merkezi Hizmetler ve Ticaret A.Ş.) which owns the Arçelik brand, ran the tender for milkrun transport and selected CEVA to renew the operation with Arcelik. CEVA will provide the inbound material flow planning and execution from 28 suppliers to the washing machines production plant at Çayırova.The logistics operator expects to transport approximately 550.000 m³ tons of goods every year on behalf of Arçelik. To meet the customer needs, the Company has devised an innovative inbound solution which will decrease Arçelik's overall transportation costs.
