06 October 2009 - 11:12 CET

London UK, 6 October 2009 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain companies, has today launched its newly consolidated Charter and On Board Courier Services around the globe. The new services will include a dedicated Charter and On Board Courier Service giving CEVA customer's access to services in-house all year round.

The launch of these new services will position CEVA as a key partner and market leader for this type of activity with existing and new customers alike. The business has identified the key market segments for Charter and On Board Courier services as being within Aerospace (AOG), Healthcare, Automotive, Technology, and Energy sectors, where the Company already has a strong market presence.

CEVA has established a dedicated team of experts around the world to provide tailored solutions to meet customer requests. Additional benefits to CEVA customers are a centralized OBC Control Tower, access to a variety of sizes of aircrafts globally as well as exclusive agreements with small charter flight operators.

"As a global business, we have recognised the need to provide this type of service to our customers, to complement our existing air freight services," explains Joe Bento, President Americas at CEVA. "We are responsive to our customers needs as this is an area they have identified as something CEVA, as their end to end logistics provider, should be offering to complete our integrated service."

These new CEVA services will range from chartering aircraft ranging from helicopters, a small Cessna up to the huge Antonov 225. An experienced team of On Board Couriers will personally deliver the consignment door to door, as required.
