Strategy

CEVA Logistics is the world's largest pure play contract logistics company. We focus on making our customers' supply chains more valuable and effective. We design, implement and operate complex supply chain solutions and use state-of-the-art IT to achieve integration and visibility throughout the supply chain.

CEVA's strategy has three cornerstones:

  1. Operational excellence
    Operational excellence is the base for our values, which are deeply rooted in each location where we operate. Our policies, processes and performance meet the highest operational standards.

    In 2004 we started to implement the LEAN processes and culture, to increase productivity, reduce cost and improve service levels.

  2. Innovation and technological leadership
    Supply chains evolve constantly to meet customer requirements. We therefore proactively reassess solutions to anticipate changing requirements in supply chains. Connectivity between all actions of the supply chain is vital.

    MatrixTM, our flagship IT suite, connects CEVA, our customers and all relevant parties in their supply chain in real time. MatrixTM supports inbound, outbound and most reverse logistics processes across multiple industries, and comprises a complete range of transportation, inventory management, order fulfilment, financial settlement and e-commerce applications.

  3. Customer and sector focus
    We use Key Account Management (KAM) to build and maintain strong relationships at operational and strategic levels. We focus on a limited number of sectors, including Automotive, FMCG & Retail, Electronics, Tyres and Industrial to leverage our expertise and to develop unmatched know how.

Smart Standardisation
Smart Standardisation is an example of how we combine these three elements. 

Smart Standardisation is the development of standard solution sets for specific customer segments based on similar customer needs. It allows us to increase operational performance by leveraging scale and skills across global operations which allows sufficient customisation to meet specific client requirements.

Smart Standardisation is currently offered to Mobile Network Operators, the automotive sector, and manufacturers in need of Global Material Management and Consolidation Centres.
